Inarizushi!

Hi! Hot day seems to be still going on.

I ate I narizushi (fried bean curd stuffed with sushi rice) for late dinner tonight.
I could'nt eat board today because many customers came to Doma-Doma. It was really crowded than usual Wednesday.

Anyway, the origin of Inarizushi is favorite food whose fox, which is messenger of Inari God. Long time ago, fox seems to like fried rat. So people used it when they catch fox. Therefore, tohu (bean curd) came to use for Inarizushi. In addition, birthplace of it seemed to be in Aichi in 1833~36. Inarizushi is one of the dericious and traditional Japanese food!

I'm sorry that I wanted to list some picutures, but I foggot taking pictures because of tiredness of part-time job. So I listed another one that I copied from web page.

And I wanna show you the recipe that I often make at home. That is really simple!

Just boil fried bean curd with soy sauce, sugar and mirin (sweet sake for seasoning). After that, make sushi rice and stuff it into fried bean curd.

That's all, but it is delicious! Please try it!

One of my favirite juice!

Hi!
Today was also hot,,(+_+;) I wanna drink something cold and fresh on a hot day like today. Especially I wanna drink it after exercised or finished part time job.

By the way I drank it after finished my part time job.

I darnk down it quickly.haha

So today I wanna introduce my favorite juice, "C.C.Lemon".Of course, probably you know the name of it.

I have drank it since I was 6 years old. Also now I love it.

As you can imagine, C.C.Lemon stands for VitaminC and Lemon. C.C.Lemon has been sold in 1994, and C.C.Lemon ZERO has been sold in 2006. That is well known for people commonly.

However, do you know that C.C.Grape had been sold in 2001? I didn't know about that! That was minor, I think. If I had had a chance I would have tried it.
In addition, The Simpsons, which is famous for in USA, had been used in commercial of C.C.Lemon during 2000 to 2002. In Japan, the animation is popular, so I think there are people who still remember the CM.

Anyway, there are some my favorite points of it. Firstly, I like citrus fruit, and especially lemmon and grape fruit. I often used to eat it when I was young while saying that this is really sour again and again. You may be surprised at or wonder why I had ate it. I don't know the raeson even me, but somehow, I couldn't stop eating it. Have you had any situations like that?

Secondly, I'm easy to be attracted to food or drink that contains some vitamin. My image of vitamin sounds healthy. So I may like it.

Finally, I like soft carbonated drink. C.C.Lemon consists of soft carbonated one. So I have kept drinking without tediousness.

Probably, juice that I have ever drunk most is C.C.Lemon. I will drink it until I die.haha

*Drinking or eating something delicious is good though, please be careful taking too much.

One of my part time job's recipe!

Hi!
Let's fight against summer by eating something delicious!
Anyway, now I work at Doma-Doma(Japanese-Bar), and take charge of kichen. Today I wanna introduce one of its recipes, "Omlet with tomato and gorgonzola".This is especially popular with girls and they often order it.
*I'm sorry this is Doma-Doma's one, so I cannot teach you all. But I change it somewhat and tell you! You can make it easily.
Ingredients,,,
1.tomato(1/4)
2.egg(2)
3.chinese chive(nira)
4.sauce dip(men-tsuyu)
5.shred cheese(45g)(*I chose shred one because you cannot find it easily at normal supermarket. If you wanna use gorgonzola one you should order it on the internet or buy at KALDI(coffee shop).)
6.cube butter(1)
7.milk(10ml)
At first, dice tomato and cut chinese chive about 1cm.And mix them with eggs and a spoonful of sauce dip in a bowl. Next, make omlet in a heated skilet. At that time, don't forgget to put butter in it because its flavor will be not soft and so good without it.After that, make cheese sauce. Put shred cheese and pour milk to a bowl. And heat it with microwave oven for 20~30seconds. Finally, pour it on omlet.
That's all.

This is completion picture.

I hope the recipe will be useful for your eating life!
Or if you wanna eat original one please eat out to Doma-Doma!

By the way, I work at Okachimachi(^^)

Dipping Npodle Shop!

Hi, yesterday I suffered from summer heat,,,(++;)
So I should eat pork a lot because it is good to prevent summer lethargy.
Let's eat shabu-shabu!haha

Anyway, as the title, today I wanna introduce dipping noodle shop especially my favorite one!
That's is 102(one-o-two), and same name as one of the famous movie that so many dogs run around and flourish.I often go there and it is located Kawaguchi in Saitama. Same shop seems to be located Omiya.
And I went there for the first time 2 years ago.Since then, I have been fascinated with that dipping noodle.

I go there definitely once a mounth. What I recommend is one that you can eat at dinner time. Because the soup is made from chicken and fish. I mean you can eat it more easier than lunch one.

At lunch time, they serve a little thick soup for woman because the soup is made from pork and fish.

But it is good for people who wanna eat deep and strong one.

At first you buy what you wanna eat on meal ticket machine in front of the shop.

I often choose normal one with hot noodle(300g). You can choose volume 200~400g. Sometimes I add soft-boild egg seasoned by soysauce flavor. This combination is awesome and surely delicious! There are also many topings, so please make your favorite.

Plus roast pork that they serve is really savory, soft and jucicy!

And if the soup got cold you could offer some broiled stone(yaki-ishi). So you can enjoy eating piping hot.

Beat the heat of summer up by eating hot dipping nooldes!haha

Please try it!

Vegetarian Challange!

I challanged to be vegetarian on June 14. And I chose Lacto-Ovo-Vegetarian.
Because it is easier than strict one, and I take none classes on Tuesday. If I have some classes when I try that I will be really hungry because my brain absolutely works.

I ate 4 meals because I thought I would't be full.

*Breakfast(at 10 A.M.):milk and sandwich with scrambled eggs, lettuces, tomatoes, cheese and mayonnaise.

*Lunch(at 1 P.M.): rice and vegetables saute(beansprouts, cabbages and carrots)

*Supper(at 7 P.M.): rice, miso-soup(Japanese radish and deep-fried bean curd) and Sugar pea vine and bean sprout butter soy sauce saute

*Night feast(at 10 P.M.):spinach seasoned with soy sauce and dried bonito

I could be satisfied with foods I ate and volume. Of course I like vegetables and eat everyday. That is good for person who likes vegetables. However, after all this attempt is hard for me because I really like eating meat and fish. I always have well-balanced diets, and also eat the meat and fish alternately everyday. Plus I like rice, and is is necessary for me to eat it with something savory. It means that I need some dishes in order to enjoy meals. If there are not meat or fish when I eat it I won't be satisfied with the meals. Indeed, I feel tired or boring without them.
In my case, there were not any difficulties about being vegetarian, but regarding enjoying meals, I had a problem like that.

However, as for the attempt, I also had some good points. Firstly, I felt that I'm healthy than always by being Lacto-Ovo-Vegetarian. Plobably consciousness that I'm eating vegetables, which include a lot of vitamins and fibers, was higher than before. In addtion, I came to taste foods steadily. I'm not sure, but I think the reason why is related to tastes of meat or fish. I cannot explain well but meat and fish, and vegetables have different and particular features that they are crisp or not, tough or not, juicy or not, oily or not and savory or not. And I noticed that people may tend to choose more savory foods to eat staple diet like rice and bread. If this is true it is small discovery for me.

It is good that being vegetarian in terms of health and cost. But I cannot say easily that being vegetarian is good. Because people have own eating habits.

I think I had a good experience. It was difficult that even becoming Lacto-Ovo-Vegetarian, so being Strict-Vegetarian may be more severe than I experienced. I'm glad to get a chance to became vegetarian. If I have some chances again it may be good to try it.

Cheese!!!!!!!!

Hi! As the title, I love cheese very much! I often eat cheese and use it with various foods.
For eample, hot/normal sandwiches, omelet containing fried rice(OMU-RICE), pasta, gratin, humber steak, Bibinba, salad,,,,,,with cheese! Cheese dish I recommend is "fried cheese with peel of dumpling(gyoza-no-kawa)".You just wrap processed cheeses with it and fry. After that, eat it with salt and pepper. It tastes just cheese! It is very hot, but delicious! And, it is good to eat with alcohol, or as it is.

Anyway, do you know how many cheeses in the world? There are apporoximately over 1000! And, about 400 of them are made by France!
I was really surprised at this! But as long as people want and create new one, cheese will incease.

Also, there are mainly 9 kinds of cheese.
Fresh,(Mozzarella)
Mildew,(Camembert)
Blue Moild,(Gorgonzola)Washed,(Montaganard) Shevre,(Rocinante Red) Soft,(La Baguette) Semi-Hard,(Gouda)Hard,(Parmigiano Reggiano)Processed,(Smoked Cheese)
I'm sorry I couldn't post all pictures. These are mafous and we can buy them on the internet. Please reffer to this HP http://www.cheeseclub.co.jp/ I think you can enjoy just seeing the pictures. And please try various types of cheese!

Sugar Pea Vine!

Hi!!

The rainy season has set in(~~)

I hate rain!I don't wanna go to school when it's rain.haha
Anyway,Today I wanna introduce my vegetable pet!
What's that? You may think that. haha
Do you know the name "Sugar Pea Vine(toumyou)"?

This is vegetable that grows alone.

You just put water in a container for growing it!
You may wanna see the pictures, so I attached them to here.

I have taken the picture since May 16.
May 18

May 21
May 22
May 24 This is interesting isn't it?

Moreover, it grows toward the light(maybe sun shine).

Because plants basically makes photosynthesis(kougousei).

So some sugar pea vines are bending.
It is useful for my meals and I can make various recipes by making use of it.

For example, I often make side dish that I saute bacon and sugar pea vine wtih butter, salt and pepper.

I made it just now for supper.

And, I put it in my lunch box.It tastes like crisp, so it is suitable for various types of saute, I think.
The cost is not so expensive. So you should try to buy and grow it!!
*There is already grew one at store, so please grow it after used.
*Please don't throw away its roots!

Shabu-Shabu!

Hi!

Yesterday I ate cold Shabu-Shabu salad at late night.
Because I had a part time job until p.m.11.
I ate fried chicken and rice whose board at the workplace while I was having a break.
But I was not still full, so I ate it.

This is simple and easy to make.
You need to prepare...
1. some lettuce leaves
2.tomatos(1/4)
3.cucumber(1/4)
4.pork ribs(2 or 3)

1.First, wash these vegitables and cut them with favorite sizes.
Regarding lettuces, just tear them by hand.

2.Put water in pan and boil it. After come it to a head, put some dried bonito(kastuobushi) and soy sauce dip(menstuyu) a little bit.
*turn off the switch after come to a head.

3.Parboil the meats with the boiled water. After that, chill it by cold water.

4. Finally, serve vegitables prettily on dish, and put the meats on it.

5.To your liking, eat the salad with sesame dressing, juice pressed from bitter oranges(ponzu) or dressing you made by yourself!

If you want to eat a lot, don't mind quantity you eat!

Here,
I'd like to explain briefly about shabu-shabu.

The origin seems that there is a pan dish, which use lanb in Beijin.
One of the Japanese man who was army surgeon went to there and he brought down it to Japan after changed lamb to beef.
And we have said shabushabu since 1952.
http://foodpia.geocities.jp/hisahisahisahisahisa0796850086/menu1/menu2/menu3/tajimagyu/syabusyabukigen.html

Now we can eat shabu-shabu anytime, anywhere.
There are some shabu-shabu restaurant in my town.
Currently, we can eat as much as we like for around 2000 yen.
So I often eat out there when I want to be a bit rich.

Do you like it?

Chirashi Zushi!

Hi!

Today I ate Chirashi Zushi, which is famous Japanese home cooking.
We often eat it when we have festivity, especially the Doll's festival!
I don't now why my mother served it today.
In my expectation, she made it because yesterday was Kids Day in Japan.
But I'm already 20 years old, haha!

Anyway, Japanese come to eat it because Chirashi Zushi is fitting for the food girls eat on festival.
As a reason of that, Japanese seem to make it colorful by using seafoods such as shrimp and carp, and edible wild plants like rape blossoms for the ingredients.
*"shrimp is a symbol of long life"
In addition, we have clams(Hamaguri) soup with it.
Because each shells of it are rarely same size and same one is valuable for girls in order to find good marrige partner. Therefore, we serve them in Japan.
The above is summary I did by referring a webpage.
If you wanna know that more, please research by yourself. I'm sorry.
http://shagy.cocolog-nifty.com/blog/2011/02/---9730.html

Briefly, Ingredients of Chirashi Zushi I ate today are...

1.sweetened vineger rice
2.Japanese omlet, shiitake mushrooms, carrots (shreded all)
3.salmon roe

I think it is good to scatter some shreded lavor(Nori) on it!

One of my favirite recipes!

Hi!

Today I'm going to tell you how to make dish I came up with!
It is "pork loin roll of vegetables with salty-sweat soy sauce".
There are five ingredients mainly, and it is remarkably simple to make.

First, this recipe is for two portions, so you need to prepare
1. a pack of pork loin (ten slices of it)
2. a green pepper
3. a quarter of a carrot
4. a Japanese radish (suitable quantity)
5. a juice of pineapple’s can
The required time is about twenty minutes.

First, have to prepare pork loins. Spread the meats and season them with salt and pepper. Then dust lightly them with flour. Next, shred vegetables so that they become five centimeters length. After that, roll them into meats.
*At this point, dust the edge of meats with flour so that doesn’t peel it from meats. That’s the end of preparation.

Next, cook the meats. Spread salad oil in a heated skillet, and toast their edge first until they become burned. Then, turn over and cook them well done so that they are not rare.

Next is how to make sauce. Reuse the skillet as it is so that can make good use of the taste of meats. Then, put only juice of pineapple’s can, and also put soy source, a spoonful of sugar, and little bit sake (Japanese alcohol), into that. And stew them until they become pulp. That’s the end of sauce.

Finally, serve the meats on two plates and pour the sauce over the top.
That’s perfection. But I recommend you to add some cherry tomatoes and lettuces with it. If do so, the dish become more good-looking, I think.

Unfortunately, today I forggot taking picture of it despite I brought it as a side dish with box lunch(; o ;)
So I'm sorry, but can you imagine it, can you?
Anyway, you should try it!

Introduction!

Hello!

As you may already know, I'm Yuki (man).
I like eating and cooking, so I chose this class and I'm in here.
There are many foods I like, but especially I love cheese and pasta.
On the other hands, I don't like curry and banana.
In this blog, I'd like to introduce mainly about recipe I cook, or food of something I have interest.
When my mother isn't in my house, I sometimes cook something I want to eat and have it.
And that is my favorite time.

Thank you!
